Feeling overwhelmed? Need a place to talk? Hi! My name is Sarah, I'm a therapist (the mental health kind) and I'm here to help. I help others by offering a safe space for reflection and insight to help movement toward positive change. Life experience has taught me that things don't always go as planned. Uncertainty and doubt can leave one feeling all sorts of emotions. During times like these, even the smallest action can make a meaningful difference. Person-centered ("talk therapy") is my main approach, paired with Cognitive-Behavioral & Motivational Interviewing techniques to facilitate the change process.
I've worked with individuals ages 5-65, diverse backgrounds

Trust & Safety
I understand the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship and use a person-centered approach to convey genuineness, empathy and unconditional positive regard in order to foster trust and safety. I see myself as an ally rather than an authority role, working alongside individuals as they reflect on thought and behavioral patterns and move toward positive change and personal growth.
Therapeutic Approach
As a therapist, I focus on meeting the person where they are at in terms of motivation for change and helping them identify areas of strength and resilience. I aim to provide a comfortable, non judgmental atmosphere safe to talk through and reflect on thoughts and emotions and move toward positive change and growth.
More About Me
I grew up in a small town in Arkansas and was inspired to pursue a career in counseling following the loss of a close friend in 2008. My passion is to help others grow through adversity and support movement toward positive change.
My professional career began with an accounting degree which led to work as an auditor, banker and inventory controller before my return to school in 2010 to pursue a career in counseling. I have worked with children, teens and adults and transferred from community-based agency to private practice setting in 2023.
